When Ordering:
  • Customer should consider sufficient quantities.  In order to cover layout changes, breakage and/or cuts, we recommend 10% to be added to all measurements.  The beauty of these tiles are their inherent irregularities such as color, size and texture variation.  Matte may have little or no shine.  Tiles, liners & moldings should be shuffled to take advantage of these variations.  Crazing and crackling may appear before or after installation; contrasting grout colors may enhance this effect.  Our tiles are not rated for counter, floor or exterior applications.  All photographs depicting such use represents buyer's risk.  Ort tiles are not freeze tolerant, for pool use, scratch/wear resistant or acid resistant (i.e. certain colors may react to juices, cleaners, sealers, etc.)  Installation of our products constitutes acceptance.  All Returns must be approved by San Diego House of Tile and are subject to a 25% restocking fee!
  • Buyer is solely responsible for the selection, suitability and accuracy of quantities of tile for Buyer's intended installation and use.
Pricing:
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.  At times, current prices may differ from those listed in this website. Please call to verify!
Sales Tax:
  • California residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax
Shipping:
  • San Diego House of Tile currently uses DHL & UPS as its default carriers. 
  • If your tile is not in stock, we will notify you and give you an approximate ETA prior to accepting your payment.
Returns:
  • All returns must be approved by San Diego House of Tile and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. 
  • No returns/exchanges will be allowed after 15 days of receiving your tile.
  • Returns/exchanges shall be shipped back to San Diego House of Tile at buyers cost and must be fully insured.
  • San Diego House of Tile has made every effort to correctly represent tile colors.  Buyer is responsible for purchasing samples to ensure desired color.  San Diego House of Tile will not be responsible for exchanging or accepting a tile return due to improper color selection.
Damaged Tile:
  • All tile that is shipped by San Diego House of Tile is insured for its full amount!
  • Buyer is responsible for the inspection of all material! 
  • Buyer is responsible for taking the following action in case of damage:
  1. Take note (in writing) of any external damage to the carton/s.  Photographs are helpful!
  2. You must notify San Diego House of Tile within 48 hrs. of receiving your tile.  You may also be required to notify the shipping carrier within 48 hrs. of receiving merchandise.
  3. Buyer may be required to file a claim with  the shipping carrier.  If buyer is required to file a claim with the shipping carrier, he/she will have to follow all of the carrier's instructions.  When the client is required to file a claim with the shipping carrier, he/she will receive reimbursement directly from the carrier.  In this case, buyer is responsible for paying for new replacement tiles.
